The David & Teresa Disiere Foundation was able to bring much Christmas cheer to children across Texas and Louisiana this year with two major projects: Christmas shopping for at-risk children, and a large donation for Shreveport’s Shriners Hospital for Children.

The annual Christmas Shopping trip was a huge success. 24 children from 18 families were treated to a shopping trip to stock up on much needed winter clothes and shoes, other necessities and – because it’s Christmas – a toy or two. 26 volunteers, including principals and staff from the children’s elementary schools and nine QEO employees, took the kids to Kohl’s at Southlake and Plano, TX, and helped them select their purchases.

To see the smiles on the faces of so many kids made Christmas so much brighter for all involved.
